Job summary

Salesforce.com, inc. is seeking an Commercial Account Executive for Manufacturing / Retail & Consumer Goods in the United States.

You will develop stakeholder relationships, drive long-term account strategy, and coordinate internal resources to meet customer needs across Manufacturing and Retail/Consumer Goods verticals. The role focuses on up-market opportunities, with room to upsell/cross-sell and pursue new logos.

Qualifications

• Average of 5-10 years of full cycle sales experience, with at least 3 in the field.
• Proven experience in managing existing customer accounts to drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities, as well as acquiring new logo accounts OR focusing exclusively on new logos (Hunter role).
• Ability to build and deliver presentations to customers.
• Ability to strategize with a large extended team.
• Experience will be evaluated based on core competencies for the role (leadership, military, volunteer, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts.
• Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives.
• Coordinate internal Salesforce resources to meet customer business needs.
• Perform account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with Prime and Cloud sales resources for alignment.
• Share Salesforce value proposition for existing and/or new customers.
• Drive growth within an existing assigned account.
