Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products serving a massive market, is seeking an accomplished outside sales professional in Ashland, VA. You will own and grow a $3M–$7M book of business, develop account plans, and conduct regular on-site visits and business reviews.

Responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for assigned customers, collaborating with branch operations and support teams, and negotiating pricing within guidelines while expanding wallet share.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in outside sales or account management.
• Experience in building materials or wholesale distribution preferred.
• Strong relationship, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset for margins and profitability.
• Proficient with CRM systems and sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Grow a $3M–$7M book of business through wallet share and relationships.
• Develop account plans for retention and growth.
