Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products, is seeking a skilled outside sales professional to manage a $3M–$7M book of business. You will develop account plans, visit customers and job sites, and collaborate with branches to ensure a superior customer experience.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years in outside sales or account management, with experience in building materials or wholesale distribution preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of outside sales or account management experience.
• Proven success growing existing customer accounts and managing a book of business.
• Experience in building materials, construction, or wholesale distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a $3M–$7M book of business through wallet share expansion and relationship development.
• Develop and execute account plans focused on retention, growth, and profitability.
• Conduct regular customer visits, job-site meetings, and structured business reviews.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and manage day-to-day needs and escalations.
• Partner with branch operations, inside sales, and customer support to deliver a high-quality experience.
• Travel regularly within the assigned territory to support customer relationships.
