Job summary

Target Stores Executive Intern program is a paid 40 hr/week hands-on training designed to develop you for store leadership. As a Stores Executive Intern, you will work with managers and team members to learn how Target's retail business operates and what it takes to lead a team.

Responsibilities include leading daily priorities on the sales floor, mentoring peers, driving guest service, planning goals, and contributing to daily operations while building guest-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Spends time on the store salesfloor and backroom leading team members and aligning the team on daily business priorities.
• Leads/presents at daily huddles with peer/leadership team.
• Plans daily goals and organizes plans within the building.
• Provides summary of results and priorities with peer/leadership team.
• Works with store leaders each day to set goals and expectations.
• Reviews business reporting and guest insights to understand opportunities.
