Job summary

Target's Stores Executive Leadership internship is a paid 40 hr/week program designed to develop and prepare you for a store leadership path. As a Stores Executive Intern, you will work closely with mentors and leaders to learn how to drive guest experience, sales, and operations while building a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong interest in a retail management role.
• Leadership skills and team-oriented thinking.
• Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.

• Able to manage workload and prioritize tasks.

• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the sales floor and backroom leading team members and aligning priorities.
• Work with the ETL mentor and other leaders to understand their roles.
• Lead through daily priorities (stocking, guest experience, displays).
• Partner with leaders regarding performance and feedback.
• Address concerns and remove hurdles to ensure smooth operations.
