Job summary

Target stores are offering a Stores Executive Intern internship that provides hands-on leadership training in a retail environment. This paid, 40 hr/week program assigns an ETL mentor and exposes you to multiple departments while you develop skills in guest service, merchandising, and team leadership.

You will learn to lead teams, set priorities, and deliver an exceptional guest experience, with ongoing feedback and opportunities to grow into a leadership role within Target stores.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Ability to lead a team and work with a mentor.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the sales floor leading team members and aligning on daily priorities.
• Work with the ETL mentor to understand leadership roles within the store.
• Lead daily priorities (stocking, guest experience, displays) and drive sales goals.
• Provide feedback and coaching to team members to improve performance.
• Participate in daily huddles and help set goals and expectations.
• Offer exceptional guest service and resolve guest needs effectively.
