Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Pineville, LA seeks a Store Trainer to coordinate with store management to train and develop partners, focusing on onboarding and adherence to policies, procedures, and culture.

Partners receive training on on-the-job and refresher topics; you monitor progress, report to management, and suggest opportunities for training. You’ll ensure a friendly, customer-service oriented atmosphere and maintain safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED and one or more years of related experience required.
• HIPAA certification required.
• Food Handler certification required.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop partners in coordination with retail management.
• Conduct retail partner onboarding and introduce new hires to policies, procedures, people and culture.
• Monitor partner progress and report to management with recommendations for training opportunities.
• Assist partners with problems concerning position-specific tasks and provide suggestions to management to improve procedures.
• Ensure a friendly, customer-service oriented attitude and keep the store presentable for customers.
