Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Training Coordinator to partner with retail management, train and develop associates, and ensure onboarding aligns with company policies, culture, and procedures. The role emphasizes delivering effective training and monitoring progress across store teams.

You will conduct sessions, stay current on company initiatives, and support front-end partners with guidance, while upholding safety and service standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED and one or more years of related experience required.
• HIPAA certification required.
• Food Handler certification required.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with retail management to train and develop partners.
• On-boarding new hires to Company policies, procedures, people, and culture.
• Identifies partners in need of training and ensures completion of training modules.
• Remains current on Company policies, procedures, business initiatives, and technologies.
• Conducts training sessions using teaching materials across a wide variety of areas.
• Reports progress of partners during training to management.
• Assists partners with problems concerning position-specific tasks and suggests improvements to work procedures.
• Maintains a friendly, customer-service oriented attitude and helps keep the store presentable.
• Adheres to safety procedures and reports hazards as needed.
