Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store leadership associate to help deliver a WOW customer experience. You will train crew on exceptional service, oversee daily store activities, and assist with receiving, stock placement, and opening/closing duties.

The role supports merchandising, expense control, and a positive, energetic store environment. The position emphasizes customer focus, teamwork, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew wow customers through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; fast, friendly check out.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure strong customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for floor placement; act as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Manage opening/closing the store, cash handling, locking doors, alarms, and daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
