Job summary

Five Below is seeking an experienced retail leader to oversee daily store operations and deliver WOW customer service. You’ll train crew, supervise associates, manage opening/closing procedures, and partner with the store leadership team to drive sales and control costs.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and composure under pressure, with a willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Wow customers through personal contact at the register and floor.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure strong customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking so items are merchandised quickly.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, responsible for store operations and staff.
• Manage opening/closing routines, including cash handling and alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates to improve performance.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Perform routine store maintenance and coordinate with leadership on procedures.
