Job summary

Five Below is seeking an associate to support store leadership in delivering a WOW customer experience. You will supervise crew, train staff on best practices, and help manage daily operations to ensure fast, friendly checkout and clean, well-stocked sales floors.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and strong communication skills; prior management experience is preferred. You may be asked to work varying shifts, including weekends, in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• College experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
• Must maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure high-quality service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick shelf placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, set alarms, and ensure smooth daily operation.
