Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, and store operations. You will lead the team during the manager’s absence and on opposing shifts, driving excellent service and merchandising execution.

The role emphasizes coaching staff, achieving goals, handling recruiting steps, and ensuring proper training. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and participate in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training and managerial certifications are required or strongly preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired) is a plus.
• Experience and certifications relevant to automotive retail management are valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service and execute programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Assist with staffing at peak hours and ensure coverage at the sales counter.
• Coach and mentor team members; set goals and provide feedback on performance.
