Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will supervise during the Store Manager’s absence and lead the team in servicing customers.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with responsibilities including hiring, scheduling, coaching, and ensuring policy compliance across daily activities.

Qualifications

• Requires Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• Experience in retail leadership and customer service roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service.
• Supervise service levels on showroom with programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc).
• Staff the retail sales counter during peak hours (lunch, late-afternoon, evenings, weekends).
• Assist the store manager in setting team goals, coaching, and training.
• Participate in hiring processes and interviews to select qualified teammates.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy and customer interactions are professional.
