Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, and operations. The role leads the team in servicing customers and managing shifts when the Store Manager is absent, with emphasis on meeting performance goals.

Location-based duties include ensuring adequate staffing during peak hours, overseeing store appearance, and coordinating with management on hiring and training. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Sales Specialist Training.
• RSS and Assistant Manager certifications are required or preferred.
• ASE Certification is desirable.
• Certified Parts Professional certification is a plus.
• Spanish language ability is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to deliver exceptional customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service and execute programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, etc.).
• Help schedule staff during peak hours and ensure adequate staffing.
• Assist in hiring, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure timely processing of buy online/ship to store and transfers; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
