Job summary

Boot Barn is hiring for a Key Holder to lead in-store selling and customer service, partnering with store leadership to drive sales and elevate the customer experience. You will develop product knowledge, support merchandising efforts, and ensure accurate POS transactions while maintaining brand standards.

The role supports a team-focused environment with flexible shifts, and opportunities to grow as Boot Barn opens new stores. A 1–2 year retail background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Become an expert in our product categories; understand and communicate product knowledge to the customer.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals (UPT, ADT, add-ons, customer info capture).
• Be informed of current promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain merchandising standards and assist with floor moves, displays, and store housekeeping.
• Assist with processing merchandise and replenishing floor stock.
• Accurately complete all sales transactions and manage cash/media at POS.
• Develop skills and improve metrics by partnering with store leadership.
• Complete all opening and closing procedures and comply with Time & Attendance policy.
