Job summary

Rack Room Shoes in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies. You will guide staff under the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager and step in when they are absent.

Responsibilities include delivering an excellent customer experience, managing POS, inventory, merchandising, payroll, training, and loss prevention to protect assets and drive store performance.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility is the safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create, establish and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience; reinforce service standards.
• Handle POS transactions in line with policy, including sales, discounts, refunds and loyalty.
• Inventory control: shipping/receiving, price changes, markdowns, singles, damaged merchandise, and physical inventory.
• Sales floor merchandising and visual presentation to company standards.
• Payroll control: scheduling, payroll budget compliance, time and attendance.
• Training and development of direct reports; reinforce customer service standards.
• Loss prevention: protect company assets.
• Manage day-to-day operations and staff scheduling.
