Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and delivering strong customer service. The role provides leadership and training to staff and steps in for Store Manager when needed.

You will oversee sales, service standards, inventory, merchandising, payroll, and loss prevention to meet store objectives. The position may be full or part-time, with a focus on safety and operational excellence.

• Safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience; reinforce service standards; train and lead staff.
• Handle all POS transactions in accordance with policy (sales, discounts, refunds, loyalty).
• Inventory control: shipping/receiving, price changes, markdowns, damaged merchandise, physical inventory.
• Merchandising and visual presentation to company standards.
• Payroll: scheduling and attendance compliance.
• Training and development of direct reports; reinforcement of service standards.
• Loss prevention and protection of company assets.
• Develop understanding of day-to-day store operations.
