Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies. The role provides leadership, training and guidance to staff under Store Manager direction.

It includes covering for the Store Manager and Assistant Manager when needed and striving to meet sales, service, and operational goals. The Team Lead role may be full or part-time management, with responsibilities ranging from customer experience to operations, inventory, payroll and loss

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience and service standards.
• Oversee POS transactions, discounts, refunds, loyalty, and opening/closing procedures.
• Control inventory including shipping/receiving, price changes and markdowns.
• Lead merchandising and visual presentation according to company standards.
• Manage payroll-related scheduling and time/attendance tracking.
• Train and develop direct reports and reinforce customer service expectations.
• Support loss prevention and protect company assets.
• Develop understanding of day-to-day store operations.
