Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations, ensure policy compliance, and guide staff under the Store Manager. This role may be full or part-time and carries responsibility for sales, service and operations.

The Team Lead provides direction, training and issue resolution while assisting with scheduling, inventory, and POS procedures. You will promote an outstanding shopping experience and help protect company assets through loss prevention practices.

Responsibilities

• Safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience; reinforce service standards.
• All POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure; Sales, Discounts and Refunds; Loyalty; Open/Closing procedures.
• Inventory control: shipping/receiving, price changes/markdowns, Singles, damaged merchandise, physical inventory.
• Sales floor merchandising and visual presentation per company standards.
• Payroll control: scheduling and time & attendance.
• Training and development of direct reports; adherence to policies.
• Loss prevention: protection of company assets.
• Understand and manage day-to-day operations.
