Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations and drive sales while ensuring compliance with all company policies. The role provides leadership, guidance and training to staff under the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, with the Team Lead stepping in when managers are absent.

This position emphasizes creating an exceptional customer experience, maintaining service levels, and safeguarding assets through loss-prevention and efficient processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations and uphold policies.
• Lead, train and guide staff under Store Manager.
• Ensure safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Maintain customer shopping experience and service standards.
• Handle POS transactions, discounts, refunds, loyalty, opening/closing.
• Manage inventory, pricing, shipping/receiving, and merchandise.
• Lead merchandising, visuals, promotions, and signage.
• Monitor payroll, scheduling and attendance.
