Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to assist in supervising daily store operations and ensure 100% policy compliance. You will lead, train and guide store staff under the direction of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.

You will also drive sales performance, deliver a top-tier customer experience, manage POS transactions, inventory control, merchandising, and payroll-related duties, while championing loss prevention and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day store operations alongside Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Provide leadership, guidance and training to store staff.
• Ensure 100% policy compliance and uphold company standards.
• Handle customer issues with urgency and aim for satisfaction.
• Oversee POS transactions, discounts, refunds, and loyalty processes.
• Manage inventory control, shipping/receiving, pricing changes and markdowns.
• Lead payroll scheduling and attendance management.
• Develop staff through training and ongoing coaching.
• Contribute to loss prevention and asset protection initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining visual merchandising standards and promotional signage.
