Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations and ensure 100% adherence to company policies. You will provide leadership, guidance and training to staff under the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, and step in when they are unavailable.

The position emphasizes delivering an outstanding customer experience, managing POS transactions, inventory, merchandising, scheduling and payroll, while developing direct reports and maintaining loss-prevention standards.

Responsibilities

• Safety of employees and customers is the primary responsibility.
• Lead customer service excellence and provide staff training.
• Oversee all POS transactions, discounts, refunds and loyalty processes.
• Manage inventory, price changes, markdowns, singles, damaged merchandise and physical inventory.
• Direct merchandising, floor presentation, signage and promotional event execution.
• Coordinate scheduling and payroll budget compliance; monitor time and attendance.
• Develop and coach direct reports; reinforce customer service standards.
• Support loss prevention initiatives and asset protection policies.
• Work towards mastering day-to-day store operations under guidance from leadership.
