Job summary

Rack Room Shoes in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies. You will provide leadership, training, and guidance to staff, stepping in for the Store Manager as needed.

You will uphold safety, deliver an excellent customer experience, manage POS transactions, inventory, merchandising, payroll, and staff development, while protecting assets and driving sales performance.

Responsibilities

• The safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience and service levels.
• Handle POS transactions, sales, discounts, refunds and loyalty procedures.
• Inventory control including shipping/receiving, price changes, markdowns and physical inventory.
• Merchandising and visual presentation to company standards on the sales floor.
• Payroll control: scheduling, payroll budget, time and attendance.
• Training and development of direct reports and adherence to policies/tools.
• Loss prevention and protection of company assets.
• Understand and manage day-to-day store operations.
