Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to assist in supervising and managing day-to-day store operations in North Carolina. The role involves leadership, guidance and training of staff, and stepping in for Store/Assistant Managers as needed to ensure compliance with company policies and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility is the safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create, establish and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience.
• Maintain and reinforce current service level standards.
• Provide service training and leadership to staff members.
• Manage customer issues with a sense of urgency and to the satisfaction of our customer.
• All POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure; Sales, Discounts and Refunds; Loyalty; Open/Closing procedures.
• Inventory Control responsibilities to include Shipping and Receiving, Price Management, Singles, Damaged Merchandise, Physical Inventory.
• Sales Floor Merchandising and Visual Presentation responsibilities; Merchandise Placement, floor maintenance and housekeeping, promotional event directions, materials and signage.
• Payroll Control responsibilities; Scheduling, Payroll budget, Time & Attendance.
• Training and Development of direct reports; training tools, reinforcement of customer service standards.
• Loss Prevention responsibilities; protection and control of Company assets.
• Work towards a complete understanding of managing day to day operations.
