O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role will lead the store team in servicing customers and may manage the store during the Manager’s absence.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Essential duties include leading staff in customer service excellence, staffing during peak hours, aiding in hiring, and ensuring efficient processing of orders and returns.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the showroom and ensure staff execute service programs.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to staff the sales counter during peak hours.
• Assist in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding of new team members.
• Manage phone communications per company policy.
• Ensure timely processing of buy online/ship to store, hub, and store-to-store orders.
• Oversee returns, exchanges, and refunds with accurate payments.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
