Job summary

Five Below is seeking a dedicated store operations leader in Shallotte to deliver WOW customer service and oversee daily activities. You will train crew, manage open/close procedures, and support merchandising and loss-prevention efforts.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, up to 1 year of management experience, and strong communication skills. A flexible schedule including weekends may be required, with opportunities for growth within Five Below.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wowing customers by personal contact and training crew on BE.S.T. service for a fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure performance and service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking of new items on sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations and staff.
• Open/close store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, ensure smooth operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive sales and control expenses through merchandising and service improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and recovery efforts.
• Perform store maintenance and housekeeping as needed.
