Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a Retail Supervisor to lead store and donation-site operations, focusing on customer service, staff development, and achievement of sales and production goals. You will open/close the store, supervise associates, and drive efficient register operations within a customer‑centric environment.

The role requires 2 years of supervisory experience, two closing shifts weekly, weekend coverage, and forklift certification if needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Able to complete and retain forklift certification, if required at site.
• Work varied schedule and flexible hours; a minimum of two closing shifts per week and every other weekend as scheduled.
• Must have working phone that allows for communication accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage own work and contribute to projects or initiatives (3–12 months).
• Provide direction and motivation to team to achieve store goals.
• Maintain safe, orderly store and donation center operations.
• Operate the register, manage tills, ensure customer flow and cash controls.
• Assist with hiring processes, onboarding, and training of associates.
• Coordinate loss prevention activities and data entry for reports.
