Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a Retail Supervisor to help oversee store and donation center operations, motivate the team, and ensure customer satisfaction while achieving revenue goals. You will support merchandising, coach staff on engaging customer interactions, manage schedules and safety, and partner with management to maintain efficient cash handling and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to complete and retain forklift certification.
• Work varied schedule and flexible hours; a minimum of two closing shifts per week and every other weekend as scheduled.
• Must have working phone that allows for communication accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Project and Change Management: Effectively plans and manages own work to reliably complete routine job responsibilities.
• Problem Solving: Close supervision for completion of routine work, with detailed instructions if beyond routine.
• Technical Skill: Basic knowledge of procedures and methods; understands customer service fundamentals.
• Community Engagement: Serves as an ambassador for Goodwill in the wider community; participates in volunteer opportunities.
• Maximize the value of all donated goods and maintain production and store environment standards.
• Coordinate proper rotation of goods to ensure a continuous flow of new merchandise.
• Support training and coaching of all employees to reach their potential and ensure adequate POS coverage and donations.
