Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Lead in Illinois to open and close the store when management is absent, handle cash and refunds, and ensure both floor and stockroom readiness for the business day. Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients, greets them, and assists with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains store systems and equipment knowledge; registers sales; reviews pricing and signage; handles backdoor/vendor deliveries.
