Job summary

Walgreens in Twin Falls, Idaho seeks a Store Key Holder to open/close in management's absence, handle cash, and prepare the floor and stock room for business. You will greet customers, assist with products and services, and ensure a delightful experience throughout every interaction.

You will also coach teammates, manage backroom processes, price changes, and basic bookkeeping while upholding store standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 1 year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid pharmacy license or PTCB certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management, including systems start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Models customer service best practices and shares them with team members to deliver a consistent experience.
• Holds store keys and opens/closes without management; coaches others in warehouse/vendor ordering process and backdoor access for deliveries.
• Registers all sales, attends to scanning errors, price verifications, and voids; reviews order exceptions with management.
• Evaluates and develops displays, completes resets and revisions, and maintains accurate inventory counts across departments.
• Assists with pricing tasks and signage to reflect local regulations and ensures timely updates.
• Assists with bookkeeping activities, cash reports/counts, ledgers, and bill payments as requested.
• Ensures store cleanliness and appearance, supports maintenance requests, and manages product placement and stock rotation.
• Ensures compliance with regulated products and conducts bag checks; upholds company policies and respectful coworker relations.
• Participates in training per manager requests.
