Job summary

Walgreens in the United States is seeking a team member to support store operations and customer experience. You will open and close the store when management is not available, handle cash, process returns, and ensure pricing and stock are ready for the business day.

You will greet customers, assist with finding products, resolve issues, and maintain inventory and display standards while working with the team to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• May vary by location (Puerto Rico exception noted in qualifications).

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including required cash handling and floor readiness.
• Completes product returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops, and provides change to registers.
• Delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Greet customers, assist with products and services, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with team members.
• Hold store keys, assist with vendor deliveries, and manage backdoor access as needed.
• Register sales accurately, manage price changes and signage, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy across departments and stockroom locations.
• Support displays, resets, and merchandising according to planograms.
• Assist with bookkeeping tasks and store maintenance as requested.
