Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a hands-on team member to open and close the store when management is unavailable, handle cash and daily reconciliations, and ensure our shelves and stockroom are ready for business. You will assist customers, process returns, and support displays and promotions to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of leadership or key holder experience, fluent English, and, where required, current PTCB certification or state pharmacy

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Must obtain PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open/close store in the absence of management, including cash handling and ensuring floor and stock room readiness.
• Process returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops, and provide change as requested.
• Engage customers with a delightful experience and help with products and services.
• Assist with inventory, pricing tasks, and store displays; support backroom operations and vendor deliveries.
• Maintain store systems, bag checks, and compliance with regulations.
