Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate who can open/close the store in the absence of management and handle required cash operations. You will engage customers, resolve issues, and deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience while supporting inventory, pricing, and displays.

The role requires at least one year in leadership or as a retail key holder, with fluent English and a PTCB certification or state pharmacy license as required.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking in English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management and handles cash and floor readiness.
• Completes returns, refunds, cash drops and provides change as requested.
• Engages customers and delivers a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Keeps inventory counts and assists with pricing, displays and stock rotation.
• Registers sales, records scanning errors and price verifications.
• Supports backdoor deliveries and vendor order processes.
• Assists with bookkeeping, maintenance and compliance tasks.
