Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops, and provide change to registers.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers by greeting and assisting with products and services; resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Share customer service best practices with team members and demonstrate Walgreens service traits.
• Hold store keys to open/close when management is absent.
• Assist with vendor orders and backdoor deliveries, including stockroom access.
• Record sales accurately on the cash register, track errors, and price modifications.
• Assist in order release reviews and reverse logistics tasks.
• Assist with displays, resets, and promotional merchandising.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and stockroom organization.
• Enforce the Outdate program and ensure proper pricing signage.
• Support basic bookkeeping, cash reports, and bill payments as needed.
• Maintain clean, neat store conditions and coordinate repairs as requested.
