Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team member to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and pricing tasks, and ensure the floor and stock room are prepared for the day. You will engage customers, resolve issues, and assist with vendor deliveries and display updates.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change for registers.
• Engage customers and patients, greet them, and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, assist with backroom organization and displays, and ensure pricing and signage are correct.
• Bookkeeping tasks as requested (cash reports, counts, ledgers, bill payments).
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance and vendor deliveries as needed.
