Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an energized team member to open and close the store when management is unavailable, handle cash and point-of-sale duties, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business. You will assist with deliveries, returns, refunds, and cashier transactions while delivering a welcoming customer experience.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
• Prefer the knowledge of store inventory control.
• We will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management.
• Handle required systems start-ups and cash handling; ensure floor and stock room are ready for business day.
• Open back door for deliveries and manage deliveries with vendors.
• Complete product returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change to registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and price changes as required by policy.
• Assist with pharmacy out window as requested.
• Provide basic housekeeping and ensure store appearance meets standards.
