Job summary

Walgreens is seeking team-oriented individuals to help open and close stores when management is unavailable, handling cash, refunds, and stock readiness. You will greet customers, assist with products, and model Walgreens service traits to ensure a delightful experience.

The role supports inventory, pricing, and basic store operations, including backroom coordination, vendor deliveries, and maintaining a clean, compliant store environment.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and ensuring floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change at registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Serves as a liaison between management and team members when store management is not present.
• Reports disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
