Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago in Batavia, IL seeks a store leader to direct daily operations and manage associate work plans. You will ensure policy compliance, coordinate coverage at the point of sale and donations, and monitor production quality while driving service excellence.

Qualifications

• Requirements include forklift certification if required at site.
• Retail or production environment experience preferred.
• Flexible hours; nights and weekend shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Directs tasks including associate break schedules, production processes, and end-of-day recovery.
• Ensure adequate coverage at POS and donations.
• Monitor production quality and motivate team to meet goals.
• Serve as service experience leader (SEL).
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure safe equipment operation.
• Communicate and implement policies; report concerns to leadership.
• Resolve employee and first-level customer concerns promptly.
• Address safety/security concerns as needed.
• Plan and manage own work; adapt to change; pursue skill building.
• Provide basic problem solving with supervisor oversight.
• Understand and apply customer service fundamentals.
• Act as ambassador for Goodwill in the community; participate in volunteer opportunities.
