The role emphasizes staff development, scheduling accuracy, and achieving sales and labor goals while maintaining safety and store standards. A strong focus on customer service and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; business management degree preferred.
• Experience leading store operations including P&L, safety, staffing, training, and performance appraisals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and store software.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end operations and oversee the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
• Prepare work schedules, train team members, and develop staff.
• Drive store sales, labor, margins, and reduce shrink.
• Recruit and engage team members; manage staffing and performance.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure satisfaction per company standards.
• Maintain compliance with safety, labeling, health, and weights measures standards.
• Oversee cash handling and department records; coordinate with Store Manager on signage and promotions.
