Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience.
• Demonstrated success leading non-perishable and perishable department operations with integrity, including profit and loss, safety, staffing, and merchandising.
• Professional communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, bookkeeping/accounting, time and attendance, and HR software.

Responsibilities

• Positively shape the store culture by modeling leadership behaviors aligned to Sprouts values.
• Develop the store leadership team to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Lead a team of approximately ten people (Department Managers and Receivers).
• Motivate and develop management by embracing Sprouts leadership behaviors.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise with attention to code dates and sanitation.
• P&L ownership - manage inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets.
