Job summary

Michaels stores are seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the Hart Manchester, CT location. You will drive sales and customer satisfaction by coaching teams, ensuring brand standards, and managing day-to-day operations including POS, BOPIS, and Same Day Delivery.

The role requires strong retail leadership (3+ years) and the ability to guide service delivery, protect assets, and optimize in-store programs. Night/weekend shifts are included in work hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience coaching teams toward customer-focused selling and KPI achievement.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure legal compliance and store standards.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage for floor leadership and operational continuity.
• Oversee front-end operations, POS and Self-Checkout usage to support transactions.
