Michaels is seeking a Retail Sales Manager in Danbury, CT to lead a high-performing team, drive sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience. This role oversees front-end and service operations, ensuring standards and executing selling behaviors to meet KPIs.

You will coach staff, manage POS operations, and champion Loyalty and protection-plan adoption while coordinating with specialty departments and fulfilling omni-channel services such as BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the store team to meet SOPs and company programs.
• Drive customer experience and selling behaviors to improve conversion.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS, Self-Checkout, and omni-channel order fulfillment (BOPIS/SDD).
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program and protection plans adoption.
• Support specialty areas (Knit & Sew Shop, Custom Framing) as needed.
