Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager of Sales and Service to support the management team in delivering World-Class service and building customer relationships on the floor.

You will supervise staffing to ensure coverage across the store and act as a role model for driving sales and service excellence. The role emphasizes coaching staff on customer service, utilizing training resources, and maintaining a positive, fair environment consistent with our People-First philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Leads the store team to create an exceptional experience for customers and exceed sales goals.
• Ensure the sales floor is adequately staffed while serving as a role model for sales associates in sales generation and service, prioritizing the customer experience.
• Coach staff on customer service principles, successes and challenges.
• Utilize Selling Essentials and training resources to educate team on product, improve selling skills and achieve business goals.
• Create a positive environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity per the People-First Philosophy.
• Ensure timely resolution of client service issues including delivery/pick-up and outstanding issues using client information reporting system.
