Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager for the ATL-CANTON, GA store to lead a high-performing selling culture and deliver strong sales results. You will oversee front-end and service operations, coaching the team to meet brand standards and KPIs, with a focus on customer experience and efficient day-to-day execution.

The role requires 3+ years of retail leadership and involves coaching, training, and managing POS systems, omni-channel services, and loyalty programs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion a high-performing selling culture across the store to drive strong sales results and an engaging customer experience.
• Oversee front-end and service operations to ensure consistent execution of selling behaviors and brand standards.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintain floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems and support smooth transactions and customer support.
• Drive omni-channel service through effective execution of BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention and repeat visits.
• Coach teams on Customer Experience and ART of Selling to improve conversion and satisfaction.
• Train and develop team members through structured onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink and ensure safe operations.
