Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager in Rocky Point, NY to lead a high-performing store team, drive sales, and deliver engaging customer experiences across front-end and service operations.

You will coach team members, ensure POS accuracy, oversee special events and omnichannel services like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery, and partner with store leadership to meet KPIs in a busy, retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand long periods and maneuver in-store.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure policy compliance and maintain store standards.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain operations.
• Oversee POS, Self-Checkout, and omni-channel services.
• Drive events and in-store programs (balloons, loyalty, etc.).
