Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Commack, NY is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture, drive sales, and deliver an engaging customer experience.

You will oversee front-end and service operations, coaching staff and ensuring SOPs, POS usage, and omni-channel fulfillment are executed to standard. Responsibilities include Manager-on-Duty coverage, enrollment in Loyalty Rewards, and leadership of in-store programs across Knit & Sew Shop, BOPIS, Same Day

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings.
• Strong customer service and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards with accountability.
• Model Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and floor leadership.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems and customer support.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards, MCC/Extend services, and in-store programs.
