Job summary

Michaels Amherst is seeking a Retail Sales Manager to lead a high-performing store team and champion a customer-centric selling culture. You will supervise front-end, service, and operational standards to achieve sales and KPI targets while ensuring brand consistency.

You will coach staff, manage OD coverage, and oversee omni-channel services including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery, in addition to promoting loyalty programs and protection plans.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience leading SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations and support smooth transactions.
• Promote loyalty programs and drive retention through consistent execution.
• Drive omni-channel services including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
