Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Sales Manager in the United States to lead a high-performing store team and deliver a best-in-class customer experience. You will drive sales through coaching, SOP adherence, and execution of brand standards while managing front-end and service operations.

Responsibilities include MOD coverage, POS operations, and supporting in-store programs such as loyalty, protection plans, and events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Strong customer service mindset and coaching skills.
• Ability to manage store operations and drive sales KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion a high-performing selling culture across the store.
• Coach team on selling behaviors and brand standards to improve conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure SOP compliance and policy adherence across store operations.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee omni-channel initiatives like BOPIS, Same Day Delivery, and loyalty programs.
• Train, develop, and coach team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
