Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing store team and drive sales, customer experience, and operational excellence. You will oversee front-end operations, coach the sales floor, and ensure adherence to SOPs and company programs.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to manage POS/Self-Checkout with accuracy, and a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and store results. Night/weekend hours are included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion a high-performing selling culture across the store.
• Oversee front-end and service operations to ensure brand standards and SOP adherence.
• Coach team on customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Drive omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Support protection plans and extensions (MCC/Extend) where applicable.
• Train and develop team members across departments and manage asset protection.
