Job summary

The Michaels LA-STUDIO CITY role seeks a Sales Manager to lead a high‑performing selling culture across the store, driving strong sales and a standout customer experience. You will model selling behaviors, coach the team, and ensure brand standards and SOPs are followed.

Responsibilities include MOD coverage, POS accuracy, loyalty enrollment, events, and omni‑channel service. The role emphasizes team development in a fast-paced environment with nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to coach customers and team members for exceptional service.
• Experience managing front-end and service operations to achieve KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in enforcing SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure store policies are followed and drive store results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to boost conversion.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout for smooth transactions.
• Oversee in-store programs such as balloons, events, and loyalty enrollment.
• Promote MCC/Extend services and protection plans.
• Drive omni-channel service with BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing skills.
